Trust and safety

Money arriving in your name from strangers should feel safe, not strange. Here are the rules we follow, and the rules we enforce.

Identity

Sign in with X is the only proof	You prove you are @handle by signing in with X (OAuth 2.0 with PKCE). We never ask for a password, a selfie or documents to claim.
What we read	Your handle, your profile's location (to suggest your country) and when your account was created
What we never do	Post as you, read your DMs, or follow anyone
Legal name	Only asked for bank transfers and cash pickup, because the bank or counter checks it

X accounts under 30 days old can't claim	New accounts are how impersonation starts
Claims over $2,500 get a human check	Large amounts should reach the right person
Claims from accounts under 90 days old get a human check	Same reason
One change of payment details per 24 hours	Stops a stolen account from redirecting money quickly
Changing your handle on X freezes claims for 30 days	Someone taking over an old handle shouldn't collect its money

A human check usually takes less than 24 hours. The money stays in your name meanwhile.

Country	We don't send to countries under comprehensive US sanctions, or where our payment partners can't. The list
Person	The payout provider screens every recipient against sanctions lists
Regions	Places that can't be checked by country, like the occupied regions of Ukraine, are screened by the provider on address

If we can't send to your country, your money still waits 90 days in your name, then goes to a charity in your name.

We only ever pay automatically to payment links you published yourself, and we never take money from them.

If	What we do
Someone launches a coin to harass you	Opt out. Your page stops being promoted and the money goes to charity in your name. Report it and we'll remove the coin from our lists.
Someone pretends to be Anywhere	We will never DM you first asking for anything, never ask for a password, and never ask you to pay a fee up front. Real links are only on useanywhere.app.
Someone claims your balance	They can't without signing in as you on X. If your X account was taken over, tell us and we freeze claims while X restores it.
